A growing number of practitioners in North America are rediscovering Live blood Microscopy, a popular procedure and mainstay of preventive medicine in Europe. Live blood Microscopy was first used in medicine for diagnosing infections. In part because of the pioneering efforts of Canadian scientist Gaston Naessens in the 1980s, Live blood Microscopy is gaining popularity, especially with naturopaths and holistic doctors.

Live blood analysis differs from traditional medical blood testing in which preserved blood is sent to a laboratory for an "autopsy" and analyzed for chemical composition and cell counts.

What to expect?
In a sterile environment, a licensed practitioner draws a drop of your blood from your fingertip and places it on a microscopic slide. Then a very powerful lens inside the microscope projects an intimate view of your living blood onto a television screen by way of a video camera.   • Fasting 4-8 hours can yield the best readings. Fasting means, no food or drink. Only water or herbal caffeine free tea, no green tea.
  • Having a spouse or friend is recommended for emotional and educational support.
  • Please bring all medications and supplements with you.

7 am - 4 pm and up to 7 pm on Thursday.
We also take appointments on all government closed holidays. We do not accept appointments from Friday afternoon through Saturday.
